   Special Offerings: Their flower baskets.
   About: Heyden's flower baskets are unmatched. They are absolutely spectacular. In the spring, Heyden's has an incredible selection of houseplants in sizes and prices you won't find anywhere else. When you get close to fall, the selection is not quite as good so I recommend visiting here in the spring, specificaly before Mother's Day. 
   

2. BAYSIDE NURSERY

   Best Time To Visit: Early spring for annuals, fall for deals on large pots.
   Special Offerings: If you are looking for rare and exotic houseplants including unique orchids that you can’t find at your local shops, this is the place to go.
   About: Bayside is on the expensive end but it's a wonderful expierence. When you're looking for showstopper annuals for pots or rare houseplants, Bayside is a great place to go.
   

3. MINOR’S GARDEN CENTER

   Best Time To Visit: Spring.
   About: Minor's is known for having healthy plants that are often larger than what you'll find at most garden centers. They have a great overall selection including trees and boxwoods and list all of their pricing on their website which makes budgeting when you have a lot to buy super easy. 
   

4. KELLNER GREENHOUSE

   Address: 3258 N Humboldt Blvd, Milwaukee, WI 53212

   Best Time To Visit: Anytime
   Special Offerings: You can book the space for events! They have a beautiful new event space that you can rent including a game room and access to the greenhouse.
   About: Kellner is on the smaller side but is an aboslute must visit. It is a Milwaukee gem that has beautiful, healthy plants. 
   

5. MILAEGER’S

   Address: 4838 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI 53402
   Website: https://www.milaegers.com
   Best Time To Visit: During the farmer’s market is the most fun time to go.
   Special Offerings: They have some great events like their farmer’s markets with tons of vendors (see the list here) and live music. If crowds aren’t your thing, stop by during the slow time and enjoy their cafe that serves espresso, baked goods, sandwiches and more.
   About: If your a plant person, you'll love Milaeger's. Although a it's a long drive, the selection is amazing. They also often have events like farmer's markets on the weekends and even a cafe with homemade food and Colectivo coffee.
